Royal Palace Museum
The oldest part of the Royal Palace (former seat of the Princes in Milan) dates back to the 16th century. During the 18th century it was transformed into the residence for the Archduke of Austria, and later turned into a new building by the famous architect Piermarini, who projected the façade. The building is located in the centre of Milan, near the cathedral. Three smaller museums belong to the same structure: the Rotonda in Via Bersana, the Palace “della Ragione” and the palace “dell’Arengario”, all contributing to build a remarkable exposition centre in the city, with their different art exhibitions.
Milano Alberghi is a tourist site dedicated to the city of Milan. It was born in 2007, nowadays it counts more than 700 pages in 4 languages.
